Since my first drink of theirs, I've always held @deyabrewery with high regard. Looking back, however, I realise I have only ever had one or their beers. However, my trust was not misguided as this was another good one 👌. It was a lush, thick creamy DIPA. Perfect for an evening in (I could imagine it being quite filling if you decided to have a second).

I've swiftly become a big fan of @thebeakbrewery beers (need to head over there for a pint soon) and this one was no exception. Picked up from @palate.bottleshop a couple of weeks back, this IPA was smooth and fruity and very easy drinking. Had to pace myself as I found I was drinking it extremely quickly...

This was a tasty DDH IPA which went down without incident. Nothing groundbreaking but a pleasurable drink.

How can a brewery which gets IPAs and, in fact, every other type of beer so right get a stout so wrong. I could just about taste the chocolate coffee notes that are so often found in a stout below the slightly watery flavour. Didn't really enjoy this beer at all, which is a shame really. I did manage to finish it though.

After the last few @unbarredbrewery beers I was excited about this DIPA offering. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I know this is an odd comment for an 8% beer, but you could taste too much of the alcohol. Strong and unforgiving - I think I'll leave this one on the shelf next time.

A roast dinner calls for a real ale, a bitter, and old man beer. This is exactly what accompanied my Bank Holiday Monday roast - @northernmonk's answer to the ale. It tasted like a good ale and certainly worked well with the roast potatoes. It had good body and colour and I would certainly drink it again.

I wasn't much of a fan of this one. Reminded me very much of a lager. I didn't think there was much taste there. It improved when my curry turned up as it complimented it well, but it was missing something.

A lovely IPA from @gipsyhillbrew, given to me by @laurzstreet. Super tasty and easy drinking. Gipsy Hill consistently do excellent drinks and this is no exception.

A tasty IPA from @beavertownbeer picked up from Sainsbury's. Easy drinking with plenty of flavour - would happily add this to my rotation.
